The Italian Death/Doom outfit ASSUMPTION was formed in 2011 by Giorgio and David of HAEMOPHAGUS (ex-UNDEAD CREEP, ex-MORBO, etc). Though originally started as a studio project, they managed to recruit support members in order to play shows with bands such as COFFINS, DEMILICH, ESOTERIC, SUB ROSA, and more.
In 2018, they finally released their long awaited 1st album entitled "Absconditus", released on Everlasting Spew Records and Sentient Ruin Laboratories.
Similar to their precursor diSEMBOWELMENT, they craft dark and eerie Doom/Death that combines extreme heaviness with Pink Floyd-esque psychadelic experimentation.
Dark symphonies shall echo in the abysmal depths of Asakusa Deathfest 2019!

浅草デスフェストに破滅が訪れる。
MORBO、UNDEAD CREEPでの活動経験あるメンバーにより結成されたイタリアンデス・ドゥームバンド。
2014年にデビューミニアルバムをリリース、精力的に活動しフィンランドデスメタル伝説、DEMILICHや日本のCOFFINS、イギリスのサイケドゥーム、ESOTERICなどとも競演。
ズシリと重苦しいドゥーム・デスリフと不気味なクリーンパートのコンビネーション。オーストラリアのカルトデス・ドゥーム、diSEMBOWELMENTからの影響をベースにPINK FLOYD的なサイケデリックな要素も織り交ぜた暗黒のドゥームデスサウンド。
2018年にリリースされたファーストフルアルバム　”Absconditus”をひっさげて浅草に破滅をもたらす!
