Hailing from Seattle Washington, OXYGEN DESTROYER commbines elements of both Death Metal and Thrash in order to unleash the unrelenting power of the Kaiju. Gigantic and monstrous, Kaiju are the symbolic bestial manifestations of nuclear warfare and the hubris of humanity.
Their 2018 debut album, "Bestial Manifestations of Malevolence andd Death" was highly praised for its pummeling intensity and was favorably compared to bands like Morbid Saint, Demolition Hammer, and Vader. The album was also featured on Trevor Strnad's (Black Dahlia Murder) top 100 Metal Albums of 2018.
OXYGEN DESTROYER is honored to perform in Japan for the first time, especially since Japanese Kaiju movies are the primary thematic influence for their lyrics and crushing songwriting.
This year, Asakusa will become the Land of the Kaiju!
